Sunday Services at 10:45am and 6:30pm
You are very welcome to join us at our worship services on a Sunday.
Each service includes singing, prayer, Bible reading and a talk from the Bible. The morning service also includes a short message for the children. We have a mixture of traditional and modern songs and hymns played by a variety of musical instruments. Bibles are provided at all our meetings. Morning services usually finish just after 12pm, and the evening service is about an hour long.
We also hold All-age Services once a month (see calendar for dates). These services are about 45 minutes long and at a level for children to understand and participate. Each service has children’s songs and a short, interactive talk from the Bible. The children are encouraged to remain in the service together with their families and are provided with worksheets and colouring sheets to use if they want to.
Sunday School (JAM – ‘Jesus and Me’)
Part way through normal morning services, children of nursery and primary school age meet for songs, prayer-time and age-appropriate teaching from the Bible. They finish when the morning service finishes.
There is also a crèche area where parents can sit with under 2s and still see and hear the service.
All our Sunday School teachers and children/youth leaders are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding children.
See our Sunday School page for more information.
Fellowship lunches
Once every few months, we have lunch together after the morning service to enjoy good food and conversation with each other.
The date of our next lunch is on our calendar.
Location
Our church building is situated on the west side of Wetherden village, which is within easy reach by car from nearby villages such as Elmswell, Haughley, Bacton and Woolpit. See our contact page for a map and directions.
